How long are the Cappadocia tours from Istanbul?

Our most popular Cappadocia tours are 2 days and 1 night. We depart Istanbul early morning on day 1 and return late afternoon on day 2. This gives you enough time to experience the hot air balloon ride, explore the underground cities, visit Goreme Open-Air Museum, and stay in a traditional cave hotel.

What if the hot air balloon ride is cancelled due to weather?

Safety is the top priority for Cappadocia tours balloon operators. If your balloon ride is cancelled due to wind or bad weather, you will receive a full refund for the balloon portion (approximately €100). Alternatively, if your schedule allows, we can try to reschedule for the next morning.

Which airport do we fly from for Cappadocia tours?

All our Cappadocia tours depart from Istanbul Airport (IST) and fly to Kayseri Airport (ASR). Hotel pickup from anywhere in Istanbul is included in the tour price. Our driver will pick you up approximately 3 hours before your flight departure.

Are your Cappadocia tours private or group tours?

All our Cappadocia tours are 100% private. It’s just you and your travel companions with a dedicated English-speaking guide and driver. You won’t be joined by strangers, and the itinerary can be customized to your preferences.

Can I do a 1-day Cappadocia tour?

Yes, we offer 1-day Cappadocia tours as well. However, please note that the hot air balloon ride will not be included because morning flights from Istanbul don’t arrive in time for the balloon (balloons fly at sunrise only). The 1-day tour includes flights, sightseeing, lunch, and all transfers. Contact us for pricing and details.

When is the best time for Cappadocia tours?

Cappadocia tours are available year-round, but the best time to visit is April to June and September to November. During these months, the weather is pleasant and hot air balloon flights have the highest success rate. Summer (July-August) can be hot, and winter (December-February) can be cold with occasional snow, but the snow-covered fairy chimneys are absolutely magical!
